My original idea for this project was to take a trip to the Met and recreate the museum scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Since the Met being close due to quarantine I had to think out of the box. After finding an old portrait of my younger brother hanging in my mother's studio, I decided to return to the idea of "then and now" with art and combine it with my original idea. I entitled the work "Now & There, Here & Then" as a play on two phrases to account for both the sporadic movement as well as the age difference in the portrait and my brother now.
